When picking out a backpack, I like to choose from either faux/PU leather, canvas or nylon (any fabric that I feel sturdy) because I study in Manila, I don't want to be a victim of people cutting purses/backpacks and getting all of the important items inside the bag, especially that I love to sleep during my commute to uni.
I love things that are both feminine and edgy, and this backpack above, is one of the best examples that depicts the best of both worlds. With floral as a feminine side, and rivets/studs for the edgy side; can't go wrong with this one.
I saw this backpack on omgnb.com and it reminds me a lot of the Rebecca Minkoff Julian backpack (RM's signature dog clip hardware duhh) but the catch is, it is 1/5 of the price of the Rebecca Minkoff backpack.
One thing I also look for a backpack is that it should have an inner lining so if it is raining outside, I wouldn't bother to put it in front of me and worry about my stuff getting wet.
These backpacks for girls are to die for (figuratively). I, myself, am a backpack user because I love going hands-free, I'd definitely use backpacks over purses.
